About This Book

Money is an open-minded trust system that allows people of different cultures to cooperate effectively. Empires have been the world's most common form of political organization for the past 2,500 years. Monotheism began to appear in the first millennium BC and has been the foundation of global politics since then. Christianity was an esoteric Jewish sect that took over the Roman Empire. Monotheists have been more fanatical and missionary than polytheists. Dualism is an attractive world view that explains the Problem of Evil by allowing for human free will.

  • Like it or not, we are members of a large and particularly noisy family called the great apes. Our closest living relatives include chimpanzees, gorillas and orang-utans. The chimpanzees are the closest. Just 6 million years ago, a single female ape had two daughters. One became the ancestor of all chimpanzees, the other is our own grandmother.
